5th FACES Live Rhinoplasty and related Facial Plastic Surgery Workshop

This is on Feb 16-17, 2013 (Saturday Sunday) 2 day live surgery mainly on variety of Rhinoplasty although we have other minor Facial Plastic procedures like blepharoplasty, Buccal fat removal, Chin implant, etc. We have prepared 3 variety noses per day (total 6 noses for the 2 days workshop).
The Venue is at East Avenue Medical Center. The Hotel is Sulo Riviera Hotel, we are arranging for a hotel corporate rate for participants. We will provide transport from hotel to venue.
Each participant will have a kit which comprises a manual, scrub suit, cd of ebooks on rhinoplasty, dvd of cadaver dissection, Certificate , and a Metal Plaque of Attendance. Meals and snacks will provided.
On day 1, short lectures will be given at 7:30am by the 3 faculty surgeons (Drs. Jay Galvez, Levi Lansangan and yours truly, Ed Yap). Live surgery commence at 9am. Day 2 will be pure live surgery to start 8am. The activity will end around 5pm for both days. Surgery will be done one at a time as much as possible to maximize comprehension among the participants. There will be 2 operating rooms functioning so there will be no lull in time and attention. The next case will start once the current case is almost done.
This is a small group learning activity limited to 15 participants.wherein each will be able to assist and observe on rotation basis. All surgeries are recorded by a professional AV firm. No video and camera is allowed during surgery because we do not like participants to compete with space. There will be a video monitor inside the operating room. All the videos will be compiled in dvd's and sent to each participant via courier after 2-3months.
There will be a fellowship dinner on Feb 16 and a farewell dinner on Feb 17. Certificates will be given on the fellowship night.
Each participants will also have complimentary (free) registration to the 12th Annual International Rhinoplasty Course in Manila on July 6-7, 2013.
All these for only usd1000. Because of the limited slots, reservation fee of usd 400 is required, payable thru bank transfer. Please inform your colleagues to email me directly if they have the intention to join and I will email them the details of payment. Please see the attached program.

Nb: Cases above are sample cases which may vary on the day of workshop. The organizers will make it a point that nearly all aspects in nasal plastic surgery will be covered.
